Always envied those smart asses with auto-reply mail. I read and write my e-mail with pine, and do not have that feature - or maybe I could ? Too lazy to find out. And besides, who cares… You send me an e-mail, and I do not reply. So I could be dead, or I could bear a grudge with you, or I could be on vacation, or my server could be emitting dark vapours and smell funny. No big deal, is it ?

For a blog, things are different. People pay me the homage of visiting this site, and they deserve to find something fresh to read every time they do. If they do not find anything new, they feel betrayed, and rightly so. Lately, this blog is making three digit counts per day, and I feel the responsibility of keeping it worthwhile. Well, there are a few links to other interesting blogs on the right column here… I encourage readers to try them out….

On a side note: five posts today, wow. And I did manage to do something constructive at work. I must be on a good vein… Unfortunately, I have not even started to write that 30+ pages-long proceedings that is due by the end of the month. Darn.

But I am diverging from what I really wanted to say with this post, more than my fits did today, thanks to the smart combination of exponentials I was suggested by Cow-gone-mad (link to his blog on the right).

What I really wanted to say is that I am on vacation until next Tuesday. I am going to spend six days in Padola, where there is still snow to put under my skis! We have a small but nice penthouse on lease there, and it is a good idea to spend Easter in the mountains - the weather is predicted to be nice.

…But does that mean I will not be blogging for six days ? Well, yes and no. I am going to use the feature of timestamping posts, so that there will be something new to read every day here, I hope. And, since I am addicted to internet, I will visit a internet cafe in Sesto val Pusteria a few times during the vacation…

But I hope you enjoy a happy Easter!
