They put it in terms of some sort of psychological analysis or another. From personal experience, I can assert that what actually happens is that as you get older, you care less and less about other people's opinions, and you waste less time preventing them from being shocked. Thanks for this :-) I don't know why but it just reminded me of my grandma who got kind of weird when she reached age 90. She insisted that her dishware got cracks because of 'all this radiation from these wireless things'. She came up with a complete theory on how the waves accumulated in her kitchen and caused things to 'jump' etc. It's not so different from some emails I get ;-) Best, B.
