Just a couple of pictures of the night before Christmas and the morning after the kids have opened their presents:

…And merry christmas to you all!

Merry Christmas, Tommaso!
Buon natale anche a te!

Merry X-mas to you and your family and all the bloggers who visit here! T, etal… do you ever buy presents for yourselves from Santa? This time I guiltily bought myself a bass guitar. Bowm…, bow_bowm. Have you been banging on the piano keys lately?
Hi Fred, merry xmas to you too! And you would be surprised to know I considered buying a guitar myself, not a bass but an electric one. I did not because I had spent a lot of money on eyepieces and filters for my telescope lately… And I felt guilty. Maybe I’ll wait for my birthday in February. I can play the guitar but I am not good and I’d like to improve.
As for the piano, yes, I’ve recently started playing a little again after a hiatus of a few months. Again, it is the third movement of the appassionata the piece that haunts me. But I also play other pieces by Beethoven.
Cheers,
T.
Hmm. I detect a pile of pink stuff on one side and cars and stuff on the other. No accounting for tastes. When I was a toddler I threw tantrums when aunties and uncles tried to steroetype me and wasn’t happy until I had a whole suitcase full of matchbox cars.
Oh, and merry Christmas by the way.
Lol Kea, times changed since we were kids… These children write very detailed letters to Santa Klaus, with pictures of the required toys - no escape !
Indeed, Ilaria does like the pink stuff and Filippo enjoys cars and spiderman thingies. But Ilaria did also get a very nice and sporty moped and Filippo also got a christmas glass ball with snow falling and a carillon playing…
Cheers,
T.
