At this very moment, Luis Sepulveda must be raising his and Vittorio Gassman’s glasses with a generous portion of the bottle of Dom Perignon which was given to him by the late actor. I spiritually join him, as well as millions of people who will cheer up tonight, in Chile and throughout the world, those that were hurt and those that knew the suffering of a whole country for too many terrible years.
The pig is dead.
A man directly responsible of the massacre of thousands, all gone unpunished, a man of unbelievable arrogance, a dictator, driven by greed for power and money, a man in lowercase letters, a being with no conscience. May he burn in his own private hell.
I will not speak out his name here. The greatest punishment that a human being could get in the ancient greek mythology was not just to die: the Gods decided to forget him or her forever. It was as if he or she had never existed. So let it be with one of the biggest criminals in the history of the twentieth century.
