One million hits June 29, 2009

While this site has been basically inactive for over two months, it still draws some residual traffic due to google searches and links; so the hit counter has continued to click after April 15th, although at a rate of roughly a third of what it did before.
Today’s news is that we got past the millionth click. Thanks to everybody for your interest in particle physics and in my reports. Please visit www.scientificblogging.com/quantum_diaries_survivor to keep up-to-date with particle physics!

I think this blog has some really great info and it’s good to see a link to your new site. Thank you
Thanks for the link to the new site 🙂
Great blog
Part of the reason for your ongoing traffic is that this is still a Recommended Feed in Google Reader. Not sure if it’s possible to get in touch with a real Reader staff person to change that.
I also have an inactive site for 5months but still receiving a number of visitors every day. The reason of that is because you have good to read blog posts and your posts are displayed in Google Search.
